        Introduction  of NIS
        Nurture  International school, Bengaluru, aims rightfully to give each child a  self-learning environment. It was indeed an inception with a clear vision to  enable each child to identify one’s strength and blossom out with unique  individualistic qualities. Nurture International School (NIS) is powered by  Nurture which is based on the promise of ‘Compete with Yourself’. Education’s  role is to help each child maximize one’s potential in the setting of a  carefully designed environment that addresses the balanced development of a  child’s inner and outer powers of body, mind, heart, and spirit. NIS is a  benchmark for itself as its focus is to cater to each child’s needs. All  Nurture methods, materials, teaching processes and methods and assessments, are  scientifically designed for each child to feel empowered and supported at his /  her level. NIS believes that each child grows at one’s pace and is capable of  making a world of difference.
        
        Faculty and  Staff
        The faculty  and staff of the school comprises over 50 members. Each member is recognized  for demonstrating incredible care and commitment towards students who are the backbone of the institution.The  team of efficient and well-experienced teachers,section wise coordinators -  primary, middle and high school,class teachers,subject teachers and school  counselors create an impact in the lives of every student. The school has been committed to excellence in education. We believe in creating a  passionate and caring community, which encourages an interactive environment for  learning with enriched curriculum. Each student is strengthen and built on  their core learning abilities and individuality. The immensely talented staff  have committed to the holistic development of the students.
        
        The  administrative staff of the school comprises the various process owners  including the school admin, human resource manager, office assistant, social  media manager, system coordinator, librarian, accountant and data operator  among all.
        The  non-teaching staff is an integral part of the school consisting of purpose -  driven and well trained individuals who are responsible for maintaining a  healthy and positive school environment.         
        
        Academic  Achievements
        In the Class X CBSE  Examination, 20 students appeared for the exam. Albert Yuktha Raj topped the  list with 84%. The school gained cent percent results. Congratulating the  students and wishing their success soar high.
        Academic Activities / Unique  Events / New Initiatives
        An array of activities are  conducted to strengthen and magnify each and every student’s psychological and  physical development. The activities teach students to blend individualism with  team work.  The best entries for each  activity is certified as an acknowledgement of a student’s dedicated work.
    
    
        - Read a book:
 
    
    Reading a book helps mind  travel places. Stories and reading are an important part of a child’s  growth and development. Reading encourages children to build vocabulary, derive  connections between stories and their own lives, and understand how different  people think about different things. Children who read are able to think more,  are able to express themselves more freely, and become independent learners. Students are encouraged to read varied genre books and voice their point of  view on the writer’s take. 
    
        - Investiture Ceremony 
 
    
    The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion where  all the young students are prepared to don the mantle of leadership and  discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The  event was conducted for Grades V and  VIII  to Grade X. The students of Grades IV, V and VIII to X zealously contested for  various posts and rigorously campaigned in the online classes. The students  from Grades IV to X cast their valuable votes through e – ballets on 28th  July 2021 in their online classes. The result was announced virtually through a  congratulatory video by the school principal. The ceremonious event witnessed  the school principal administering the oath and the elected office bearers  pledged to be responsible citizens. 
    
        - Press Club
 
    
    Press Club aims at  production and  dissemination of news. In collaboration with Owliver’s Post the Nurture  International School initiated press club to modify the way young adults  interact with news and worldly knowledge. 
    
        - Toycathon
 
    
    Under the ‘AatmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ initiated by our Honorable Prime  Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi, Toycathon-2021 is conceived to challenge India’s  innovative minds to conceptualize novel Toy and Games based on Bharatiya  civilization, history, culture, mythology and ethos. Students participated in  the activity with full glory and exhibited a glimpse of their inventions and  innovations. 
    
        - Model United  Nations(MUN)  
 
    
    Model United Nations, also  known as model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can  learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At an  MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization,  or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world.  MUN teaches participants skills like research, public speaking, debating, and  writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.
    
        - Financial Literacy Programme 
 
    
    Financial literacy is the first step to achieve financial  inclusion, creating the need to seek and receive financial services and  products. Its main objective is to increase awareness about financial products,  educate decision-making ability regarding financial products and to develop a  sustainable financial system A school imparts knowledge not only to students but  to every learning mind. Nurture International school conducted Financial  literacy programme for the school sub staff. The programme intended to equip  the sub staff on the importance and need to better manage their finances.
    
        - Constitution Day
 
    
    On the eve Constitution Day, the Nurture  International School conducted Youth Mock Parliament to help students gain  necessary debating skills,knowledge on the subject and also help them  understand how our parliament functions.   The students of Grades VII to X ,as parliamentarians,exhibited their  knowledge about the benefits and concerns pertaining to the trivial issues,through  debating skills ,with great knowledge and zeal.
    
        - Community Outreach
 
    
    Donation Drive and Wall of Kindness are the two  initiatives intended to empower individuals to effect change and to help make the difference  we're unable to provide with our own hands. 
    
        - Alumni Club
 
    
    Alumni meeting is a rewind of blissful moments we lived in and how  beautifully we are  blossoming from them.  Nurture International School virtually installed Alumni Club on January 9, 2022  to cherish and celebrate the harmonious and impactful student life. 
    
        - Virtual Field Trips
 
    
    Virtual Field Trips are an opportunity to see and experience the world  without ever leaving the classroom. It enable students to make connections and  compare theoretical information with practical situations. Students are  encouraged to think critically and apply the concepts learned in class to the  real world. 
    
        - Global Citizen 
 
    
    Perseverance and discipline are the key attributes for any success.                                                                                                                                                                    Awards  are rendered to respect and honour the dedicated efforts of students. It serves  as a reminder of the thoughtfulness and interest invested in order to upscale  themselves. Every month, a student from each Grade is recognised as Global  Citizen Awardee.
    
        - Co - Curricular activities
 
    
    Fine art classes such as Art, Music, Dance and Karate are conducted  weekly for students to channelize their energies well and to  rejuvenate them creatively. 
    
        - Clubs 
 
    
    Another extended learning platforms of Nurture International School are  the various clubs such as: Eco, Interact, Literary, IT, Eureka  and Heritage. All these clubs aim at  developing student’s inter and intra personnel skills.
    
        - Inter House Competitions
 
    
    The school organised a number of Inter House Competitions throughout the year pertaining to varied aspects  to encourage healthy team and competition spirit.
    
        - Celebrations
 
    
    Each and every celebration expresses and upholds glorious heritage,  culture, traditions and nativity. All the national, regional and native  festivals and remarkable days are celebrated with fervor, grandeur and  patriotism.
    
        - Teacher Training
 
    
    The school conducts in house trainings and urges teachers to equip  themselves by attending various educational training sessions. The new insights  learnt from these trainings enable teachers to build themselves professionally  and to adopt new teaching strategies.
    
        Online Study  during Covid 19
        The 2019–2020 coronavirus  pandemic is upending life on a global level as we know it. The nation wide  lockdown paved way for the new and digital era of learning. The teaching  faculty of Nurture International School regularly conduct online classes and  are in constant contact with parents and students. The digital teaching has  embarked learning to new heights. Students are hooked to learning through  activity based teachings. To encourage and appreciate students, their works are  posted on school’s social media handles.
    
    
        Conclusion
        Nurture International School aims to build  and grow as a NEP recognised school. The educational practices followed by the  school stimulates mental and physical growth in the students. The teaching  strategies implemented are inclined towards activity based learnings providing  students hands on experience. The teaching and non teaching staff have  dedicated themselves to help the students grow globally.
